For the past 9 years Arise! has provided Christmas presents to Native American children on both the Rosebud and Pine Ridge Reservations in South Dakota. We collect presents by age and sex and then deliver the gifts to needy kids at different venues. YOU CAN HELP! Children's coats are a constant need on both the Rosebud and Pine Ridge Reservations. We will be collecting coats for kids to deliver Christmas 2011. This trip will be to the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota and will concentrate on helping people with their houses, relationship building, prayer and worship. The tentative date is June 2nd through June 7th. We will be staying at the Eagle Nest Life Center in Wanblee SD and working on houses and on a future business location. We need those who feel comfortable doing repair work and those that can talk with and pray with the local people. This trip is not suggested for those with young children but teens would be OK. This summer we will be doing "Camp Noah" with the folks from the Eagle Nest Life Center. This will be a camp for Lakota kids and each kid needs a sponsor who will mentor that child for a 5 day camp. The camp is held at a park on the Missouri River in SD and will include water sports, games and other camp stuff. The Fall Festival Trip is to help Pastors Gus and Terry provide a Holloween alterative for the children on the Pine Ridge and Rosebud Reservations. Last year we had over 200 kids attend the games and other activities. This is a great trip for people withg young children. We need lots of help for this trip! Call Max at 720-215-8885 for details.

This will be the 9th year of delivering Christmas Presents to Corn Creek Community on the Rosebud Siuox Reservation. Arise! provides presents to four different communities but at Corn Creek we get to do the delivery ourselves! It's a quick weekend trip with one overnight stay at a local motel.
